Silvia Yehezkel is the founding member of Yehezkel CPA, LLC. Prior to beginning Yehezkel CPA, LLC, Silvia was a Partner at a boutique accounting firm, managing the firm’s audit and assurance team. Silvia specialized in serving small to mid-sized private and public reporting companies, under both International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (“US GAAP”).

Silvia has also served as a senior audit manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, working with mid to large sized public companies within the Banking and Capital Markets industry. Silvia held several posts including a rotation at PWC in Tel-Aviv, Israel. She also has more than two years of experience at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) where she inspected large domestic and international (Israel) accounting firms.

Silvia completed her Bachelors of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) and her Master of Business Administration at Columbia University.

Mr. Sobel has over 35 years of experience serving as the senior tax advisor to stakeholders looking to maximize the effectiveness of their tax function. 

Mr. Sobel’s career began in the Big “4” and included time spent in “Special Acquisitions,” as a firm instructor, executive tax role for prestigious publicly traded companies and as Tax Practice Leader for a regional public accounting firm. Mr. Sobel serves as senior tax advisor to client public companies, numerous well-regarded private equity firms and their portfolio companies, and strategic advisor to owners of closely-held and emerging businesses. 

 Mr. Sobel’s experience far transcends the traditional tax consultant. In addition to leading the tax aspects of literally hundreds of successful acquisitions, Mr. Sobel personally oversaw the tax integration of each of these businesses and the ongoing smooth operation of each’s tax function.

While in industry, Mr. Sobel’s responsibilities extended to include the management of all aspects of the corporate accounting and financial reporting function including SEC reporting, corporate accounting, budgets, forecasting, cash management and payroll functions. As such, Mr. Sobel is uniquely qualified to assist his clients to integrate tax into other critical business functions such as finance and accounting, treasury, legal, risk management, human resources, procurement and operations. 

Yohanan has served as a CFO of publicly-traded and private companies for over 25 years and has an extensive experience in SEC reporting and GAAP financial statements, IPO, accounting research, regulatory compliance and governance, M&A due diligence, private placements, building accounting and finance functions, financial analysis and projections, business plans and budgets, stock compensation plans.

Yohanan is a CPA in both the US and Israel, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel.

Than Than manages the firm’s accounting and tax departments. She has more than 15 years of experience in client service in the public accounting arena.

Than Than works with a wide array of entrepreneurs as well established businesses in managing their accounting and financial reporting requirements, including maintaining general ledger, preparation of financial statements, bank and payroll reconciliation, cash flow management and budgeting.

She is well versed in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns of individuals, partnerships, S corporations and C corporations. She has also developed expertise in sales and payroll tax returns and other monthly, quarterly and annual information reporting returns.

Over the years, Than Than has worked with clients in real estate, manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail, jewelry, restaurants, education, foreign investors in the United States, and not-for-profit organizations.
